L'Oréal Annual Report
Each year, the Cosmetic Markets Leader presents a highly innovative and digital-first annual report, with the ambition to talk to both investors and general audience.
Challenges
- Create an annual report that will address investors’ needs while interesting a broader audience.
- Design an innovative navigation in a very rigid and specific information architecture.
- Design a very enjoyable reading experience on pages with a large amount of data and key figures.
- Give users control over what they read.
Methodology
- Brainstorm sessions with L’Oréal investor relations team and Angie content team.
- Wireframing of key templates such as L’Oréal in Figures, Acquisitions, Cosmetics Market …
- User Testing before release with various profiles of users.
- Enhancement of the tested pages with users’ feedbacks.
- Usability and accessibility evaluation during the visual design phase.
Outcomes
We created for l’Oréal a high-class annual report that offers quick and easy access for the investors to the key indicators, while storytelling the 2018 milestones. The users can personalize their journey by filtering the content with their favorite topics. This annual report is digital-first and has been widely shared, 3 millions users visited it in 2019 (Google Analytics).
